Beef & Broccoli
Ingredients
Beef Marinade
- 2 Tbsp Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
- Pepper to taste
- 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 lb Berryman Stir Fry Beef
Other
- 2 Tbsp Peanut Oil
- 2 - 3 Heads Broccoli Chopped
Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1/3 Cup Chicken Broth
- 1/8 Cup Honey
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 6 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 1/2 - 2 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 Tsp Sriracha (Optional)
- 2 Tbsp Ground Fresh Ginger
- 1/4 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes (Optional)
Instructions
- Marinate beef in marinade for at least 15 mins.
- In medium bowl whisk together sauce ingredients and 1/4 cup water and set aside.
- In wok or skillet heat up 1 tbsp of peanut oil until smoke begins to rise. Put in broccoli, pinch of salt, and 1/4 cup water. Stir and cover with lid. Cook on high heat for 4 minutes - until steam escapes from edge of lid. Remove to plate.
- Heat remaining peanut oil in wok or skillet over medium heat. Add steak and cook - flipping once until browned (about 3-4 mines per side).
- Stir in broccoli and sauce until broccoli tender and sauce slightly thickens (about 3-4 minutes).
- Serve and enjoy!
